Pattern: Chocolate Chip AMCU

This is a multiscale rendition of the ‘chocolate chip’ family, set in the manner of the Australian multiscale pattern. It keeps the scattered chip-like specks but layers them over the soft, organic multiscale construction, in a warm tan-and-green palette.

MegaCamo’s catalogue labels this the Chocolate Chip AMCU. On the image a khaki-tan ground carries soft, organic multiscale shapes of olive-green, warm brown and a dark chocolate, with the small scattered chip specks across the whole print. The palette is a warm blend of tan, green and brown.

On the hooded tee the tan-and-green multiscale pattern reads as a modern, natural bush camo. The organic shapes soften the chip specks, and the warm palette makes it easy to pair and to wear. It blends the chocolate-chip character with a contemporary multiscale feel.

The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, feels smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a lightweight piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.

Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top size; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print is applied across the whole garment, so the pattern continues over the chest, arms and hood without a break.

Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what lets us offer patterns that would never be worth stocking.

Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, do not use bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Cold, gentle washing is the best way to keep the colours bright.
