Pattern: CADPAT Arid v3 — Greenish-Grey Digital
CADPAT, the Canadian Disruptive Pattern, was the first operational digital camouflage, adopted by the Canadian Armed Forces in 1997. This Arid v3 keeps the same pixel construction but walks the palette toward a greenish-grey middle ground between the warm Arid and the grey Urban.
The Arid v3 colourway sits on a greige base with a soft green-grey drift. The pixel overlay layers a muted brown, a light grey-tan and a subtle grey-green, so the pattern is low-contrast and calm without being either strongly warm or strongly cool.
On a lightweight hooded tee this neutral-green grey is a very wearable, balanced camo. It is soft enough to blend into everyday settings but keeps the crisp digital CADPAT texture that defines the family, and it works across most seasons and wardrobes.
Why own it: this is the last, most balanced colourway in the CADPAT Arid run. It sits comfortably between a desert and a grey urban read, which makes it a versatile piece for someone who wants Canadian digital camo without committing to a loud palette.
The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, feels smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a lightweight piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.
Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top size; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print is applied across the whole garment, so the pattern continues over the chest, arms and hood without a break.
Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what lets us offer patterns that would never be worth stocking.
Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, do not use bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Cold, gentle washing is the best way to keep the colours bright.
