Pattern: CADPAT Urban — Grey Digital
This is the urban face of the Canadian Disruptive Pattern. CADPAT, the first operational digital camouflage in the world, was adopted by the Canadian Armed Forces in 1997, and its pixel vocabulary turned out to be as useful in built-up grey surroundings as in forest.
The Urban colourway is built on a charcoal and slate-grey base, with lighter grey pixel clusters and occasional near-black islands. There is no green, brown or sand here — the whole pattern sits in a cool, monochrome grey range designed for concrete, asphalt and stone.
On a hooded long-sleeve shirt this reads as a clean, modern grey digital. The pixel blocks fragment the surface nicely and the monochrome palette makes it an understated, easy-to-wear top that is recognisably CADPAT but far less loud than the green woodland.
Why own it: an urban-grey rendition of a genuinely historic pattern is unusual, and it pairs well with denim and neutral streetwear. It keeps the credibility of Canadian digital camo while feeling contemporary and easy to style.
The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, feels smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a lightweight piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.
Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top size; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print is applied across the whole garment, so the pattern continues over the chest, arms and hood without a break.
Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what lets us offer patterns that would never be worth stocking.
Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, do not use bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Cold, gentle washing is the best way to keep the colours bright.
