Pattern: ERDL in a blue-green woodland colourway

This hooded long-sleeve tee is printed with a broad organic camouflage pattern on a misty grey-blue base, using rounded patches of soft blue, sage green and a muted blue-grey, with a scattering of small dark dots. The shapes are large, soft and irregular — the classic ERDL-style woodland construction, where little rounded islands of colour cluster and flow rather than sitting as clean geometric blocks.

ERDL (Engineer Research and Development Laboratory) is the American woodland camouflage family originally developed for the US military in green, brown and black; the dark scattered dots here echo the speckled “chocolate chip” style seen on desert patterns. This blue-green rendition is MegaCamo’s own house colourway — a reinterpretation, not a pattern that was ever issued publicly in these tones. So, “Blue Woods” is our label for this variant, while the ERDL-style structure is its true lineage.

How it reads on the garment

The palette here is cooler and softer than the classic green ERDL: the greys and blues give it a calmer, almost watercolour feel, with the sage green adding contrast. The dark dots break up the larger patches and keep the print from looking flat. On a long-sleeve hooded cut the organic shapes flow across the chest, over the shoulders and down both sleeves, so the pattern reads as a continuous print rather than a front-panel graphic.

Why own this lightweight hooded tee?

This is a subtler take on the ERDL woodland. Instead of the old olive-and-brown, it stays light and muted, which makes it easy to wear with jeans or plain trousers without the camo shouting. It is a good fit if you like the ERDL look but want something that reads as modern and understated rather than vintage.

For collectors it sits nicely alongside the green ERDL and the purple variant in the same family, so you can compare how the identical structural shapes behave under completely different colour treatments. And because it is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded tee, it layers well and stays comfortable across a range of weather.

Fit, fabric & care

The fabric is a soft, stretchy 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend — comfortable, quick-drying and easy to move in. It is cut long-sleeve with a hood, in sizes S to 3XL, and is light at around 0.374 kg. As a printed garment it carries roughly ±5% production tolerance, so if you are between sizes, size up.

Care: machine wash at or below 45°C, do not bleach, and avoid prolonged soaking to keep the blues from dulling. Slight variation in print placement between pieces is normal on a made-for-you garment.
