Pattern: CADPAT Arctic — White Digital
This is the winter face of the Canadian Disruptive Pattern. CADPAT, the first operational digital camouflage in the world, adapted its pixel logic to a snow palette for cold-weather use: broad, pale fields broken only by sparse, blocky marks. The Canadian Armed Forces developed a winter/snow element of the CADPAT family specifically because the same pixel-based system that hides a soldier in woodland also works when the terrain turns white.
The Arctic colourway is dominated by a bright, almost pure white base. A scattering of grey and charcoal pixels runs through it, with the darkest clusters concentrated in small islands and the lightest areas left open and clean. There is no green or brown here — the palette sits strictly in white and shades of grey.
On a hooded long-sleeve shirt this makes a strikingly clean, graphic look. The white base keeps it bright and crisp, and the grey pixel clusters give it the distinctive Canadian digital texture. It is a striking modern winter camo and reads especially well on a garment that covers so much of the body, where the sparse white pattern has room to breathe.
Why own it: white camo on a long-sleeve top is an unusual and eye-catching choice. It is the same important national pattern as the green CADPAT, but in a winter palette that most brands skip. It pairs well with denim and neutral layers and instantly gives a modern, technical-look feel.
The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, feels smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a lightweight piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.
Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top size; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print is applied across the whole garment, so the pattern continues over the chest, arms and hood without a break.
Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what lets us offer thousands of patterns that would never be worth stocking.
Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, do not use bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Cold, gentle washing is the best way to keep the colours bright.
