CHINA PLA Plateau Tibet v2 Lightweight Hooded T-Shirt

Pattern: China PLA Type 03 Plateau (Tibet-tarn) v2 — highland desert

This is the second rendition of the PLA Type 03 Plateau Pattern, or “Tibet-tarn”. The design is a digital, flecktarn-like dot pattern used by Chinese army units in semi-arid, high-altitude and mountainous regions, and this v2 shifts the palette.

The Type 03 Plateau v2 colourway runs slightly warmer and more saturated than the base version. The base is a warm sand, and the dot clusters are filled with a richer brown, a rust-orange, an olive and black. The result is a warmer, higher-contrast rendition of the same pointillist highland pattern.

On a hooded long-sleeve shirt this v2 reads warmer and more energetic. The richer brown and rust tones give it more depth, while the dot structure keeps it soft and natural. It is a warm, wearable desert digital with a real national-military identity.

Why own it: the v2 is the warmer, more saturated take on a genuine PLA highland pattern. Its richer palette and flecktarn-style dots make it stand apart, and it is a distinctive, easy-to-wear piece.

The garment. This is a lightweight long-sleeve hooded T-shirt, printed all over with the pattern you see on the image. It is cut with long sleeves and a hood and fits as a regular, athletic top. The fabric is a 94% polyester / 6% spandex blend, so it stretches with you, feels smooth against the skin and takes the all-over print cleanly. It is a lightweight piece — about 0.374 kg — and runs in sizes S to 3XL.

Fit and size. Because the sizes run S–3XL, pick the one closest to your usual top size; the stretch in the spandex gives a little forgiveness, but for a closer cut take a size down and for a looser, layer-over fit take a size up. The print is applied across the whole garment, so the pattern continues over the chest, arms and hood without a break.

Made to Order. Each shirt is printed and sewn after you place your order. Production and fulfilment take roughly 4 to 7 days before the item ships — that is the time to make and pack it, not the total delivery time, which then depends on transport once it leaves us. It is not sitting on a shelf, and that is what lets us offer patterns that would never be worth stocking.

Care. To protect the print, machine wash at or below 45°C, do not use bleach and avoid prolonged soaking. Launder on a normal cycle with like colours and don’t tumble dry hot. Cold, gentle washing is the best way to keep the colours bright.
