This lightweight long-sleeve hooded tee carries the chocolate-chip structure in a dense, flecked woodland green. The ground is a pale olive, the broad soft-edged blotches stack in a darker green and brown, and the small dark specks that define the family sit scattered through in near-black and dark brown. The construction is the six-colour desert — large organic shapes over a lighter field, dusted with the little dark chips — with the whole thing shifted into a green woodland key.

The family is the United States Six-Colour Desert, nicknamed Chocolate Chip or Cookie Dough because those small dark flecks over a lighter ground resemble chips in cookie dough. Developed by the US and standardized for the Desert Battle Dress Uniform from the early 1980s, it spread to many regional forces, including long use in Saudi Arabia and standardization in the United Arab Emirates around 1993. This rendition is a MegaCamo colourway of that family, a woodland-green reading, and “Fleck” is the catalogue label for this arrangement of the shapes.

How it reads on the garment

The green-and-brown palette with its dark flecks gives the print a broken, speckled texture that is lively without being loud. It reads as a woodland pattern at arm’s length, while the small chips add a fine grain up close. On the hood and long sleeves the design moves cleanly around the body.
